Vandeventer Black LLP's annual Labor and Employment Law Review and Update will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at the Marriott Norfolk Waterside in Downtown Norfolk from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   We are excited to present panels of experienced professionals and attorneys who will discuss the latest developments in labor and employment law, defending your termination decisions, and solving employee disappearing acts.  Our break-out sessions will address immigration law and your workplace, criminal law issues in the workplace, OSHA inspections, and the latest on FMLA.  HRCI approved for 5 general credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification. 

The guest speaker for lunch will be Paul Bibeau, freelance writer and author.  Paul, the author of Sundays with Vlad, will take us on a light-hearted trek to Transylvania and back.
