During the pandemic, millions of companies–large and small–were forced on a dime to establish remote teams without the planning and strategies necessary for an effective transition for either leaders or team members.

Some leaders have made this transition successfully and others are struggling. The same goes for team members.

And even though a transition back to the office (BTO) is now in sight, WFH is here to stay. A whopping 99% of respondents in a 2020 LinkedIn survey said they would want to continue WFH at least 2 days a week once their office opened back up, and 70% want to stay virtual full-time. Remote work options are no longer a perk—they’re expected.

Understanding how to maintain team productivity, connectedness, engagement and resilience when leading remote teams is going to be vital for leaders to figure out for companies to stay competitive. In this interactive presentation, Resilience Expert and Trainer, Lisa Smith, will share some of the core foundations for successfully leading remote teams, such as:

  • Common challenges of remote teams and how to mitigate them
  • 6 essential keys for remote leaders to recognize and utilize to maintain their team’s productivity—without micromanaging or appearing disconnected
  • Ways to build team trust, cohesion, and collaboration in a virtual environment
