The COVID-19 pandemic sparked an immediate uptick in remote working across the globe, impacting millions of workers. Now, as organizations contemplate plans for reopening and supporting hybrid work, one thing has been top of mind—company culture. This session will explore how remote work has impacted company culture, and how the drivers of culture have shifted over the course of 2020-2021. In addition, we will explore the perceived challenges remote work poses to company culture, and discuss ways to move forward with a human centric approach to work.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Stephanie Downey, Ph.D. is a People Science Senior Consultant at Glint, and is based in Virginia Beach, VA. She helps companies leverage people data and focus on creating people centric talent strategies. Before joining Glint, she worked as an internal organizational development consultant with NCR, a large global Fortune 500 organization. At NCR she led several initiatives across the talent development space in the areas of engagement and culture, selection, assessment, leadership development, talent management, and diversity and inclusion. Stephanie has published and presented her research at professional conferences on topics related to diversity and inclusion, trust, employee engagement, and organizational culture. Stephanie received her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia.
