A discussion around how focusing on strengths and what is going right, on happiness, fulfillment and well-being sets people up for greater long term success. Positive Psychology focuses on what makes people and organizations thrive. This happens through intentional actions and behaviors that anyone can practice at any point in time.
Learning Objectives:
- Define Positive Psychology and learn the science behind it
- Discuss how it impacts individuals and ultimately organizations – some of the exercises and tips on how to create a fulfilling and meaningful life
- Learn and practice in session some of the concepts/interventions of Positive Psychology
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Kira Wong is a Certified Positive Psychology Coach and Breathwork Facilitator and founder of Meaningful Balance Coaching, LLC. She focuses on helping others find the happiness and joy in their life, set and crush goals that are meaningful to them, become more resilient and confident, and create/live a life they love. Kira also provides personalized and group Breathwork sessions and workshops.
Kira has a 20+ year career in Coaching and in Human Resources. In addition to her own private coaching practice, she has worked in a variety of companies in the transportation and shipyard industries. She built her Human Resources career primarily in the Leadership Development, Employee Relations and Engagement, and Recruitment arenas.
While she does list meditation/breathwork, yoga and reading as some of her top favorite activities, she also enjoys a good competitive board game or dance off with her son and daughter.
In addition to her Positive Psychology Coaching and Breathwork certifications, Kira has a Masters from the George Washington University and a HR Certificate from Cornell University. She has made it her mission to help as many people as possible create a roadmap to create a meaningful, thriving and successful life.
